A
convincing win in the Anglian League saw Boston's A Team finish 30
points ahead.
It was
not easy to pick a swimmer of the meet with so many wins.
Jessica
Murfin had two victories and the 200m IM was a 3 second PB, but
with 16 PB's swam on the night she did not quite get my vote.
Ruth
Singleton gets my vote
as Swimmer of the Meet with a 7 second victory and 2 seconds off
her previous best time in the 100m fly in a time of 1.16.88.
*********
The B
Team was in fine form, at one time challenging Wisbech for second place.
Finishing
in third place however was good result, beating Norwich Swans and
St.Ives.
There
were a lot of good swims with 14 best times swam and some close finishes
with the A Team.
Katy
Thorn and Rebecca Price in the 100m IM and Sadie Haines and Laura Swain
in the 100m Breaststroke with the A just winning both events. Ose
Ikhena lost to Robert Price by 2/10ths of a second in the 100m Freestyle
and took revenge by winning the 100m Backstroke. Katy Thorn also
turned Eleanor Reed over to win the 50m fly.
My
Swimmer of the Meet is Ross West who claimed victory in the 100m
Freestyle with a 2 second PB into the bargain.
Well Done! Ian
