| The
last of the Counties proved to be just as successful as the others with
another 12 gold medals won. That brings this year's total to 38, beating last year's total of 23 gold medals! Reuben Reed continued his great form by winning another 3 gold's and would have been my swimmer of the meet. However, Ben Pogson also collected 3 gold medals and gained another National qualifying time in the 200m backstroke and once again is named as Swimmer of the Meet. We had a strong contingent in the Boys 200m backstroke with wins for Reuben Reed in the 9 years age group, Zak Lomas in 12years, Ben Pogson in the 13years and Nathan Sargeant in the 14years. Patrick Ikhena was a double gold winner in the 50m butterfly and 100m breaststroke and Sam Wright won the 13years 100m breaststroke. |
