Swimmer of Meet |

This was a successful meet with 31 swimmers achieving best times. There were a few swimmers finding good form so early on in the season, each producing three personal best times and these of course are being considered for swimmer of the meet. Those swimmers were: Ben Warren, Megan Edmonds, Hollie Royce, Hollie Featherstone and Heather Guy. Our swimmers won 39 trophies between them. Of course it is all about winning so the following swimmers must also be considered for the accolade: Kimberley Van-Haren won the Freestyle and Backstroke Rebecca Price and Elvijs Roberts came first in the Butterfly Josh Teague won the Backstroke. Ben Pogson won the Freestyle, Backstroke and Butterfly and Reuben Reed won the Freestyle, Backstroke and Breaststroke. Swimmers who impressed me most when competing were: Paige Royce, Stephanie Goodale and Heather Guy. So, as you can appreciate it was not an easy job picking a swimmer of the meet. It needs to be done
however, and my Swimmer of the Meet is Heather Guy with 3
best times achieved, just proving that the training is paying off. |
