What great result for both the A and B teams. Both had to battle to come through, with the A team behind both Grantham and Saxons (that's Bury St Edmunds and Mildenhall joint team.) The A team ran away with victory at the end and this is unusual as in previous years we have finished joint with Grantham or just beaten them by the odd point. The B team also did a fantastic job coming back to beat Downham who are a lot stronger these days. Swimmer of the Meet for the A team goes to 'come back star' Jordan Butler, a double winner on the night. The B team Swimmer of the Meet is Kimberley Van Haren. Kimberley smashed her PB and won the 50m breaststoke, breaking the cut off time. She has now broken all the cut off times and also beaten her breaststroke rival Amelia Murfin. Well Done, Ian |
