| Well done to all those who took part in the gala. There were some outstanding performances with many swimmers beating the cut-off time for their particular race. An extra well done for the adults taking part - Mark Housam, Nicola Housam, Karl Royce and Barbara Guy. The swimmers thoroughly enjoyed watching! Also, to top the night off on a high, there were very loud cheers for the last two events which were combined into one as we finished the race in first place. Overall on the night we finished in third place, with the swimmers putting everything into their races to achieve their best. The Swimmer of the Meet could have gone to many swimmers, but the swimmer who stands out the most is Lewis Teague for his 25m butterfly. An outstanding performance and he also managed to beat the cut off time. Well done! Congratulations to you all! Beth |
